Digital Art History
In September, 2020 I will begin a Ph.D. program in the Digital Humanities at King’s College London to explore how different technology methods can enhance the usability and innovation of art historical content.
Institute in Ancient Itineraries: The Digital Lives of Art History
I am working collaboratively with an international group of scholars to analyze the current state of digital art history and present our findings through an online Proof of Concept that will facilitate future research and discussion about the field. This institute is led by King’s College London’s Department of Digital Humanities and Department of Classics, in collaboration with HumLab at the University of Umeå with grant funding from the Getty Foundation as part of its Digital Art History initiative.
UX Design for Digital Scholarship
As a 21st-century art historian I am particularly interested in leveraging technology to connect people to cultural heritage. I do this by incorporating elements of user experience design practices into digital research projects.
